What is IvySync?
IvySync is the name of the fully automatic way the Ivy Health devices connect with the IvyHealth application.
Can the scale be used without the IvyHealth app?
Yes, the scale has its own screen and can be used without being connected as if it were a regular weight measuring scale. The rest of the values are only displayed if the IvyHealth app is switched on. Without the app, you will not be able to store the results in the cloud (IvyCloud) or add the result to your medical history in your phone’s application. You can also note your weight and add it later manually, but the rest of the values will not be available.
Can the scale be used without an Internet connection?
Yes, the scale works like a normal scale when there is no connection available.
Can I share the scale with others?
Yes, the scale allows for any number of users. In addition, the free IvyHealth app also allows different users to register, each with their own password, even when sharing the same smartphone. Just login with the particular person’s data.
Can I share my measurement records?
Yes, unlike other brands, the IVSCB scale allows you to share specific measurements or complete records with whomever you would like.
How accurate is the scale?
This body analysis scale complies with all the requisites of the European Union for this type of device, making it totally reliable. Its precision is +-5 mmHg. It is important for you to follow the instructions so that the readings reach this degree of precision.
Does the scale have internal memory?
The scale does not have internal memory, which is why if you wish to store your records and make the most of what this device offers, you must use the IvyHealth app.
Do I need to synchronize the scale with my mobile phone before use?
No, all you have to do is stand on the scale and it will switch on automatically. Open the app and press New Measurement. The scale sends all the values automatically to your mobile phone.
Do I need to turn on the scale before taking a measurement or can I turn it on from the mobile phone?
All you need to do is step on the scale. Then, in the app, press “New Measurement” to store the values of the measurement in the mobile app.
How does the scale work?
In a non-invasive way, using a small current, which is imperceptible to humans, emitted and captured by the scale through the user’s bare feet. Remember that it should not be used by pregnant women or people using a pacemaker.
What happens if no information is displayed on screen?
If no information displays on the scale screen, its batteries are likely to be flat. Change the batteries or recharge (if you are using rechargeable batteries). If it still does not work, use the warranty or take it back to the place of purchase for it to be checked.
Why doesn’t the scale connect to the mobile phone app?

What’s the difference between an arm and wrist blood pressure monitor?
The wrist blood pressure monitor is more compact, making it ideal for travelling, etc. It is also more convenient for people with mobility problems, as it is easier to place on the wrist than on the arm. In order to use the arm blood pressure monitor, you need to roll your sleeve up, whereas with the wrist blood pressure monitor, you don’t.
Does the arm blood pressure monitor have internal memory?
The IVBPW blood pressure monitory does have a single internal memory, valid for just one user. If you wish to share the blood pressure monitor, you can do so by using the IvyHealth app and changing the user. However, the measurements recorded in the blood pressure monitor’s internal memory will belong to different users, so they will not be valid.
Can I send my measurement records to the doctor?
Yes, unlike other brands, the wrist and arm blood pressure monitor allows you to send your complete records to your doctor.
Do I need to synchronise the blood pressure monitor with my mobile phone before use?
No, you just need to switch on the blood pressure monitor, open the application and, when you press the new measurement, the values of the blood pressure monitor are automatically uploaded to your mobile phone.
